I’m angry. She agreed to meet me & I’ve been waiting 20 minutes. Her phone goes straight to voicemail. Time to move on. Cooperative effort requires cooperation!. I’ll go to the library myself.
Passing through the security device, I look down the stairs & decide to take them instead of the elevator. I like the ‘underground’ library because the atrium lets in plenty of light and the floors seem to float in position. Floors number downward with 1st being 1st downward, which has my access to research papers using a dedicated PC. In the old days access was complicated, but now my student ID holds permissions & access.
My graduate project is building a simulation of a quantum environment that includes extra dimensions that explain the reason for the double split paradox. To be successful, it won't be necessary to prove the argument, just represent a certain amount of viability. It is an especially ambitious project because time is included & it will be hard to show as a simulation. If I restrict the number of real dimensions then it might be easier to add an extra spatial dimension & a flexible time dimension. In order to be wild with extra-dimensionality it will be necessary to be conservative with the real ones!
Today the decisions needs to be made on whether the subject is a photon or an electron. An electron would be exciting if I can show why electron can be a particle or a probabilistic cloud. How extra-dimensionality can present as a cloud. Why when the electron goes through the slit, it is also probabilistic cloud passing through the barrier. Also, time flexibility of the erasure measurement.
Using a photon may not be as exciting, but historically light experiments have been decisive. Today I review electron & photon double slit experiments & see what I can handle. A decision must be made; progress must be shown.
